IMPORTANT 
 
Despite all the care I put into customizing this doll, especially in sculpting her mouth, the result is not perfect.

The mouth was completely redone over an old sculpt that had a hole in it (there was a large hole in that spot), so I wanted to try something new (though I’m honestly not sure I’d attempt this kind of OOAK again in the future!). The finish is not perfectly symmetrical.

Also, two small air bubbles formed during the application of the final layer of gloss varnish ( one on the upper lip, and one in the center of the lower lip (the lower one might be less noticeable because it blends more into the sculpt , along the middle line).

In photos, these may look like reflections, but they are indeed tiny air bubbles.

This is a flaw that I consider VISIBLE (they’re not huge, and not necessarily obvious at first glance, but they’re definitely there and can show up in photos), and it can be more or less noticeable depending on the angle and lighting.

The upper bubble can also be felt slightly under your finger, but it’s not the kind of bubble you could remove or pop. (Nevertheless, even though it’s more on the surface, it won’t snag or peel off !  it’s really under the varnish, which ultimately creates a smooth layer.)

To avoid posting the same portrait ten times, I deliberately varied the camera angles. Where you see the flaws in the photos, it’s not because I’m trying to exaggerate them: they’re truly there.

On other dolls with more subtle flaws, I sometimes mention that visibility depends on lighting… but in this case, I’d rather emphasize how noticeable these flaws can be.

Instead of redoing her immediately, I prefer to offer her for sale. If she doesn’t find a new owner, I’ll either keep her or redo her completely (in a totally different style).

I’d rather highlight the flaws upfront as a warning. So if you’d prefer a doll without these small imperfections, I recommend waiting for another doll instead !
